Before the Summer Ends...

Here is our family list of summer fun that we want to accomplish before the cool weather nips at our nose and signs of fall start to appear.  I got this idea from Melissa over at 4 Ladies and a Patient Man. Once you have finished reading mine, be sure to go and check out Melissa's list too. 

Sightseeing at Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia
Sightseeing at Jamestown, Virginia
Purchase a two year pass to Bush Gardens and Water Country USA
Go to Virginia Beach
Join the YMCA
Visit Family in Atlanta and Valdosta Georgia
Visit the Coca Cola Factory in Atlanta
Visit the Atlanta Aquarium

Go to Wild Adventures in Valdosta
Go to Shelley Lake, have a picnic and feed the ducks
Go to a Durham Bulls baseball game
Rebuild our backyard firepit to make it bigger and better
Go see Twilight Eclipse at the outdoor theater
Go to a concert
Go through all of Jason's stuff in storage and get rid of the public storage space.
Fly a kite 

Build a sandcastle at the beach
Write my name in the sand at the beach
Have a backyard BBQ 

Paint my toenails like the American Flag
Paint my toenails like watermelons
Drink a pitcher full of homemade mixed drinks all in one evening
Rewatch the entire series of Dawson's Creek
Catch fireflies
Go to the Festival on the Eno and stick my feet in the Eno River
Go to the Fairgrounds for Independence Day and enjoy activities and fireworks
Get family photos taken
make homemade limeade and lemonade

Finally buy a straw hat and wear it to protect my face from sun exposure
play travel bingo
make homemade icecream sundaes
cook hot dogs on a stick in our backyard fire pit
roast marshmallows and make smores in the backyard fire pit
read at least two classic stories
go to the Natural Science Museum
Go to the History Museum
Visit a spray park
Pick fresh strawberries and blueberries
Visit the farmers market
Celebrate Monster's first birthday
tie dye something
Lose 15 pounds
Make homemade ice cream sandwiches
paint something with chalkboard paint
Make a Lego table
buy a small aquarium and a few fish
drink lots and lots of water
dye my hair back to the natural color
Draw pictures with chalk on the sidewalk
