murdock designs has a lot of cute and colorful items, but i am in love with these cloth super hero dolls. made with 100% cotton and approximately 17" tall, these little guys are so bright and cheerful. i adore all of the fabric choices and the fun little cape that each one is wearing.

the designer, anne, got started creating these dolls when she made them for her children. she attributes her background in design for helping her choose colors and patterns.

so, if you haven't heard, jason and i and our friends went to a carolina panthers game last weekend.  it was the first time since amanda and rick had gracie and jason and i had elijah, that we have been out together without any of our children.

jason and i had a few hours together a little over a month ago, but this is the first time with friends.  i have to admit that it was great.

there are 9 birthdays during the summer months in my immediate family. not to mention, having six children, there are plenty of birthday parties we tend to get invited to.  sadly, we have to limit how many we attend.  not to mention, there are times i just dislike going.  i have attended way too many "i've-got-to-outdo-the-last-person" parties.
