which then left me loading up 4 of my children to take a trip out to buy a new one. that was a small part of my busy weekend.
why is it that things break when i am so desperately trying to save up for something specific...like a new house to fit my family of 8?
while out, i picked up this gigantic contraption. a six foot wide prison wall. is it sad that the benefits of this device are far greater with phoenix and tyler than they are with elijah? however, i certainly do hope that blocking off the kitchen like i did does not demolish some weird baking hobby he had in his future. he has an obsession with the kitchen i tell ya!
i call it the wall of freedom. obviously not anyone else's freedom but my own. i cleaned my house and it stayed clean and now i have the freedom to do other things. it's amazing how this replica of the great wall of china has made such a difference already in the cleanliness of my home. toys actually stay where they are supposed to stay.
wanna join me on the other side? be prepared for a strip search. i see that toy in your pocket!
valentine's day was so very sweet. some would say this holiday is bogus, but when we have six children who require every bit of our attention and we shower with love all year long, it is so lovely to have just a couple days a year for just the two of us, jason and i.
even if we don't get to enjoy it completely alone and nacho libre is your romantic movie of choice.
lovely tulips!
and another surprise. a stella and dot gift that i won over at webbisodes a while back.
hope you had a happy heart day.
