This was the weekend that we FINALLY took
our Christmas card photo. That's the way the cookie crumbles when you're
the one behind the camera all the time.
As
I mentioned the other day, Jason and I decided to do a card with him
and me this year instead of just the kids, like we normally do. We
haven't had photos together since 2008, so it was due time for some.
Plus, I got a super cute Shabby Apple dress a couple months ago that I
still hadn't worn!
Let
me just tell you, Polyvore is perfect for helping you process your
ideas when it comes to putting fashions together. This was the set I put
together, but you will soon see (tomorrow maybe!) that it isn't quite
like the end result. Nonetheless, I am super please with our photos and I
have my amazingly talented daughter, Mackenzie to thank for taking
them.
So, for those of you who may be new to this, this is how it works: Go
create an outfit in Polyvore, blog about it, sharing your outfit, then
come here and link up. That's it!
Sadly, as many of you may already know, Natalie, my partner for The Polyvore Files, decided to take an extended break from blogging this past week for personal reasons. Whether she will return to blogging or not is her decision, and I support her for the choices she has made thus far. I have decided to continue on with The Polyvore Files, however, because Natalie left so quickly and unexpectedly, many of the people who were previously linking up, may not be aware that it is still going on over here. So, be sure to share it, tweet it, and shout it from the rooftops to let everyone know they are invited to join in and link up.
