our trip actually got cut short because our littlest family member suddenly got a fever, and so we decided that since we only had one day left on our vacation, we would come home just a wee bit early.
our original plan was to take a stroll on the beach that late afternoon, and then head on back the next day with our swimsuits and sand castle building tools. however, we didn't get to the second half of that plan, but we certainly did enjoy feeling the sand between our toes and getting a bit wet as the tide rolled in.
