wow what a week! it was certainly not a good one at all, as far as weight loss. but, don't worry, i am not going to let myself fall this time around. i am determined to lose the weight. i will just consider this week a minor setback. i was doing well all weekend, but then on monday came along and a mishap during my workout threw me for a loop.
i honestly don't even know how it happened, but while working out, i threw my hip out of joint and either majorly pulled a muscle or something tore. i have been in pain all week, but i haven't bothered going to the dr. because i am hoping it is only going to get better. it's still painful but i certainly don't want to waste any time going to a dr. so he can tell me to take some pain reliever and put a heating pad on it. i'll give it some time first.
and i guess you can say i have been healing my wound with chocolate (and mexican food). bad me!
i don't want to completely give up my workouts so my plan is to do some low impact workouts, including some denise austin workouts, and push to a comfortable limit. i have done some denise austin workouts in the past right after having my babies and my body wasn't quite ready to move back into a regular workout. she has a variety of low impact workouts that were great for getting me back into the swing of things without putting a lot of stress on my body.
i gained some weight this week but, i am not going to let it get me down. check out my stats for this week:
