my top 3 tuesday - foods

top3tuesday-1
if this is your first time here for my top 3 tuesday, then you should know that every tuesday i do this to let my readers know a little more about me and my interests.  this week it is foods. i would not call myself a picky eater at all, so there are so many foods that I love, but when thinking about it, these foods definitely beat the others by a long shot.

sushi - white rice with salmon and cream cheese, avocado, cucumber, sesame seeds, and spicy sauce. that is the taste of heaven. i put a little bit of soy sauce on each one and i do use the ginger and the wasabi too.

i can eat it every day almost. at least once a week for sure. and believe it or not, the cheapest and the best sushi i have ever eaten comes from the awesome sushi chef at my local harris teeter. i have purchased sushi from the high dollar restaurants and the flavor is just not as good and fresh as my harris teeter sushi chef. he really is dedicated to his work and always prepares the sushi fresh for me when i come in. and if i ever go in and see that he is not there, then we don't eat sushi that day because no one who has ever taken his place has prepared it as good. i don't know what he does, but he has the magic sushi touch.

mexican food - i know i have said it before, but in a past life i must have been mexican because if i don't eat mexican food every day, i am sure to be thinking about it.

whether it is salsa, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, or what ever mexican.  whether it is authentic mexican food, tacos and homemade salsa at home, or "welcome to moe's" i have a craving. every day.

bacon - it's one of those things that is great with so many things. breakfast. lunch. dinner.  by itself.  on a biscuit, in an omelet, in a sandwich, on a pizza. inside foods, wrapped around foods. i love it! i love the way it smells. the way it tastes.

and.

i bake mine.  i don't fry it. frying just cooks it in its own grease. when i bake it, i put it on a broiler pan and let the grease drain to the bottom. this makes it crispy and not nearly as greasy. and then even after that, i am sure to blot any grease that i can off.

blt

fyi...i had a blt last night! it was delish!

those 3 items. now you all know why i have such a hard time losing weight.

what are your top 3 favorite foods?
