now that elijah is one, he is eating all kinds of solid foods, and there is one thing he ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT LIKE and that is to be fed. he is completely independent and will refuse anything that must be spoon fed to him, even foods that most kids love like mashed potatoes and applesauce.
what i dislike most about giving elijah his plate of food and letting him eat it on his own, is that it is a guarantee that he is going to pick his plate up and dump it.
baby diner allows me to use any of elijah's cute smooth bottom plates, like his Finding Nemo plate and his Spiderman plate that he loves, and turn them into suction bottom plates without any extra dishes to clean. the best part is that you don't have to clean it every time because it doesn't touch the food. i have been using it since it came and i have washed it once a day just to make sure it stays sanitary.i also like that it is easy and convenient to slip into his bag and take it with me on the go.
i am not going to lie to you, this thing has popped off a couple of times, like any suction cup, they just don't stick 100% of the time. we have a $200+ gps that sits in the floor of my van most of the time because i can't ever get the suction cup to stick. a piece of concave flexible plastic...a suction cup is a suction cup.
