but there is something i just have to mention...
1. hurricane earl
if you live near me, or even on the east coast, then you probably have heard all about hurricane earl that passed by north carolina just the other day. well, luckily, we got far less than we expected, but somehow, i don't know how, for a brief moment, earl came all the way up into north carolina, crept in through one of our windows, and brought terrible amounts of wind that has destroyed the entire insides of my home. the outside is just fine, the roof is still on, but you should see my kid's bedrooms! and all of our clothes...holly cow! they are everywhere!
okay, so my messy house is not hurricane earl's fault. more like the hurricane of life! ever since we got back from vacation, this place has been a disaster. i am determined to get it cleaned up this week, which means my posts may be few, or either done in such a hurry that they may not make a whole lot of sense. i really want to share our vacation photos with you, but i have just not had time. soon! i hope! at least before Christmas! :)

2. the list maker
i am totally a list maker. i make a list for the market, for chores i need to do, meal planning lists, lists for things i want, and things i want to get rid of. so, of course, i made a list for the chores i want to get done this week. i kinda sorta, in the smallest way ever, used flylady.net to help me decide where to begin on this disaster around here. I would show you pics, but i am too embarrassed. she has lists! i love it!
