I actually worked with this photo a while ago in Photoshop but came back to it recently now that my Photoshop skills have increased. I am still learning, but wanted to work more with what I had learned to fix the eyes and colors on this picture a little more.
I took this picture of one of my best friends daughter because she is just a delight to photograph (when she will be still long enough to let me!). This was originally a goofed up shot where I intended to use the flash, however I didn't. I still enjoyed the original and how I was able to capture those big beautiful eyes.
Rather than try to brighten the photo, I tried to enhance the darkness of it. I added a "fairy lights" texture and lense flare and then brightened the eyes a little. It is a very mysterious photograph. I used Photoshop cs2.
