Fat Butt Friday - The Water Report & Recipes

"One of my New Year's wishes was to shed some of the weight I had gained during my pregnancy with Little Monster, and so in my attempt to do so, I felt it was harder to hide late night snacking and lack of motivation if I put myself on the line and in the spotlight. Every Friday, I will be sharing my weight loss journey (including my successes and failures), as well as delicious recipes, meal ideas, and exercise suggestions. Join me if you accept the challenge to lose weight and gain a healthier life! (Don't forget to grab my button in the sidebar)"

Things are going well with the water (Hey, is that kinda a joke there? Well water...things are going well with the water. Haha...maybe? Okay, it's funny to me!). I have been accomplishing my goal of 8-8oz. glasses of water each day. I have these two reusable bottles that hold 6-8oz. glasses of water each and, I have been taking them with me to work every day. I usually drink at least 1 glass in the morning with my vitamin and try to take another with me on the way to work. Regardless if I do or not, i still have after work and all night to finish one more glass but, I am usually finished by the time I get home.

I am going to work on the water thing for another week, maybe 2, until I start adding anything or making changes to my routine. I don't know if I said it or not but I have not been exercising. I took a step back last week to start with the water. I haven't been completely inactive though, because I have been working hard to get this filthy house of mine clean. (I have been told it is not that bad but, I have major OCD issues that are only getting worse the older I get. But, I still think people are trying to be nice because it looks bad around here and I don't believe it's my OCD talking. And if you are a regular blog follower, you will notice that I haven't been on the computer as much because I have back to back Fat Butt Friday posts.)

How has everyone else been doing?

Last week, I gave you a great simple recipe for an iced mocha. Did anyone try it? It is de-lish! Here is another healthy cold snack that you can enjoy.

Banana Popsicles

1 pkg. of sugar-free banana pudding mix (or vanilla)
2 cups skim milk
1 large banana
  • Mix pudding mix and milk together and then add cut up banana.
  • Put mixture in blender and blend according to your liking. Blend more for smooth popsicles, less for chunkier popsicles.
  • Spoon into popsicle cups
  • Freeze til set and enjoy!
If you have any healthy snack recipes I would love for you to share them!
