I completely fell off of the wagon this week. In fact, I fell off, landed with my face in the mud, and the wagon backed up and ran me over again...TWICE!
But, rather than give up, I have learned that it is okay to fall off as long as I get back up again. In fact, to put it all out there for you to see, I want you all to know that today I ate...

2 cupcakes
2 Ghirardelli chocolates
and
some cheese puffs.

Many of us do not get the daily recommended amount of vitamins and minerals from the fruits and veggies we eat and, it is important to take a multivitamin to get those nutrients. Even the healthiest eaters can still be missing those important nutrients because it is hard to judge how much we are getting from every individual thing consumed. Cooking foods can often destroy some of the nutrients it provides as well. It is necessary for your body to have these nutrients in order to function effectively and efficiently. Lack of vitamins and minerals can make a person feel sluggish and tired, weaken muscles and bones, and even cause your gums to bleed.2 cupcakes

Now that I have made myself sound like a Fat Cow, I feel much better. The best part is, I can start fresh tomorrow. Just because you have one bad day (or one bad week), doesn't mean you have to give up; just start fresh tomorrow! And be sure to take a multivitamin.

I just recently started taking a multivitamin along with St. Johns Wort to improve my mood. I haven't been taking them long but already, I can tell that taking the vitamins has improved how I feel each day. It is extremely important to take a multivitamin, especially when dieting, because many people who think they are improving their health by eating healthy are actually harming themselves if they are eliminating foods that once provided essential vitamins.
I don't like to see things out on my counter, but I do keep my vitamin bottle right beside my bathroom sink so that I will remember to take them every morning.
FYI: Be careful when leaving vitamins out where your children can reach them. Large doses of iron that are often in multivitamins can be deadly. Make sure your vitamins have child safe caps.
How did you do this week?
