Back to Couponing

I started couponing last year around June and saved us a lot of money by doing so. I got many things either free or nearly free simply by learning to wait and use the coupons when really good sales were happening, but mostly when Harris Teeter was doing double and triple coupons. Slowly, with the welcomed chaos of Halloween, then Thanksgiving, then Christmas, I drifted away from using my coupons. Sadly I could have been saving myself a ton of money during the busiest food purchasing times of the year. So I am going to TRY to get back into using my coupons. I think one of the main reasons I fell out of using them was simply because I became frustrated that I couldn't successfully coupon like the pros. I am a very impatient person and I expect results quickly. If I succeed, I continue. If I fail, I give up. But this is something I don't want to give up on. So, I am giving it another try. This time I will start out slow and continue to remind myself that it takes time to be as successful as these women who have been doing this for years. Here are just a few of the women I envy and hope to learn from.

Money Saving Mom
The Frugal Girl
Cha-ching on a Shoestring
The Happy Housewife
Southern Savers
