As a family, we rarely eat out. Don't get me wrong, I do like going out to a restaurant to enjoy a meal, but with our large family, unless we are eating at a place where kids eat free, our dinner bill is never less than $75 ($25 at a fast food restaurant). Therefor, our cheapest way to go is to go nowhere and stay right at home for our meals.
Since we eat in a lot, I quickly get tired of eating the same meals all the time. Like I have said before, cooking is not my favorite thing to do, and I am not Rachael Ray, where I can whip up a great new meal in 30 minutes. Believe me, I need all the help I can get!
Many times I have mentioned that I prefer simple recipes. If you want me to fix it, I better understand what the heck I am putting into it. What the heck is cream of tartar? Even that is too complicated for me, and I see that one a lot.
Here is a super simple recipe for Asian Green Beans that I found on the Wish-Bone website that I am sure to try real soon. (Wish-Bone makes deliciously yummy dressings that I totally prefer over Hidden Valley and Kraft. Their ranch has a spicier flavor that I absolutely love.) This recipe says that ginger and chow mein noodles are optional, but I know right now, I will NOT be adding those to mine...making it even more simple!
