6 Simple Rules

Living in such a chaotic house, full of wild, energetic children, there must be rules in order to maintain some sort of structure. I thought I would share some basic rules that I found a while back. Following these 6 simple rules can pretty much cover everything without having to make rules like "no hitting". Most "no, no's " fall into one of these categories. It also helps children to decide whether or not their actions are okay. Here they are...

6 simple rules:

Use Kind Words

Be Polite

Offer to Help

Do the Right Thing

Tell the Truth

Clean Up

Don't get me wrong, just because we have rules doesn't mean chaos does not exist...believe me, it certainly does. As I sit here, military Dad is drilling the kids about cleaning their rooms. What are some of the rules you have in your home, and how do you handle chaos? Leave a comment to share how your family sets rules and corral chaos.

Stay tuned for the punishments that come with the breaking of each punishment and why we choose the punishments we give for breaking the rules in our home.
