i am also in love with the paper coterie's latest memory jar free printable. it has two labels, one for your memory jar and one for your journal, along with 52 questions to print off and answer...one for each week. you simply cut out the printed questions and store them in your jar, making it a fun and easy way to choose one each week. each question is super fun, and they can easily be answered in just a few sentences...perfect for us mom's who almost never have a second to spare.

free memory jar printable from paper coterie

in the past, i have kept a journal, but got away from using it when i started blogging back in 2008. this year i decided to start keeping one again. it won't be something i write in every day or anything, but just to jot down my thoughts every now and then, do my 52 weeks of drawings, and even to use it as a gratitude journal.

jar of thanks - free printable from paper coterie

right now paper coterie has this free give thanks printable available for you. use it to make your own gratitude jar with your family this month and teach your kids about being thankful for all the things they have. it comes with a label to put on your choice of jar and paper writing prompts to help you jot down some of the the things you are thankful for. as you fill out each little slip you can use them make a gratitude paper chain. i put ours together in less than 15 minutes and we all have already filled out our first slip of paper to get our paper chain started (even jason filled one out). this is a fun activity for the whole family and kids love it because they get to help participate in the creation of something special.
this month i am participating in 30 days of thankfulness and really wanted a way to get my kids involved as well. it is simple to put this jar in a place where it is easily accessible to them, and each day they are able to grab one of the slips. thanksgiving evening, i hope my plan to get all my children together one last time before the day retires works out, and we can sit down and read each one as a family. i might have to bribe them with hot chocolate!

as i've said before, i recently became an affiliate of paper coterie and have really enjoy being a part of this wonderful company. they are always offering their customers great deals and i can only assume that the closer it gets to the holidays, the greater the deals are gonna get. however, don't hold out too long because some of the awesome deals paper coterie is offering, may not last long, like the fabulous 72 hour canvas sale that is going on right now.
for 3 days, you can get a canvas print of your favorite photos for a whopping 75% off. you just can't beat that! the holidays are around the corner, so why not give one (or two) as a gift to all those grandparents. if your family is like mine, grandparents are always the hardest to shop for because they basically have everything, am i right? you can't go wrong with photos! so, grab a paper coterie canvas and save a ton of money!
or how about something similar to this?
i found this idea on pinterest the other day and fell in love! elijah is just now getting into super heros and he would be over the moon to have this on his wall.
no matter what you decide, be sure to do it quick before this deal goes away.
use the code FALLWALLS at checkout to get 75% off all canvas at paper coterie.

back to school with a paper coterie giveaway

i recently became an affiliate of paper coterie and am pleased to be working with such an amazing company. i had heard about paper coterie, and first ventured to their website when i started getting the idea that i wanted to do a memory book for family this christmas (there's nothing like getting a head start, especially when you have a big family). so many in my family don't actually read my blog because they just aren't into the whole computer/ internet like i am, so i wanted to give them a piece of it to enjoy. one of my mom's and dad's favorite things to get are photos of her grandchildren.
not only does paper coterie have memory books, but they have cards, calendars, memory keepers, planners, and several other pretty awesome things as well. i can't wait to take our fall family photos and start creating personalized cards for the holidays (i don't want summer to end, but it is inevitable that fall will come, so why not embrace it).
sounds awesome, right? well, here's something even more awesome...
paper coterie is giving one lucky six cherries on top reader a chance to win a coilbound documenting book (up to $32 off, plus free standard shipping) to celebrate back to school.
what a fun way to document the new school year!
giveaway ends friday, august 31. i will contact and announce winners as soon as possible. sorry, u.s. only!
