I
am kind of in a slump this year when it comes to Christmas. I don't
know what it is, but I am just not feeling it. However, I am trying like
crazy to get in the mood. Today after church, we are heading out to buy
our Christmas tree. We actually have an artificial tree, but for some
reason, I have had this urge to buy a real tree this year and I am
hoping that bringing a real tree in this year is what it takes to turn
my Scrooge-like attitude around.
I
also love nothing more that getting all comfy and cozy on the couch in
my pajamas with my favorite blanket and watching a great holiday movie.
My absolute favorite movie is the 1994 version of Little Women with
Winona Ryder. It's not a holiday movie per say, but most of the time it
is only played during this time of year, and I love it so much, I refuse
to watch it any other time of year so that I always look forward to it.
I still cry every single time I watch it too. Here is a list of my favorite holiday movies, plus a list of 25 must watch Christmas movies.
Some other must haves for my cozy movie night include my homemade soup, coffee, and some fabulous scents in my tart warmers.
