staying home saturday wasn't an option for me with a few days of warm weather rolling through our area. we were in desperate need of a fun filled day with the sun in our face, good food in our belly, and friends at our side.
we woke up this morning one hour later than usual as our clocks sprang forward overnight and begin to realize that the signs of spring are definitely here. waking up to cold mornings that feel like it couldn't possibly get any warmer than this and adjusting our thermostat by early afternoon to rid our home of the sticky humidity that has built up inside. i love it!
visions of the day before are still fresh in our mind. there's even the warming feeling of knowing our children are actually growing and thinking back to yesterday when we discovered that tyler is now tall enough to finally ride the go-carts too.
i just couldn't resist taking my eyes off the track to glance over and see the wind in her hair and the biggest smile on her face.
not even allowing a small batting cage incident stop us from enjoying every detail of that day.
a much needed great day to lift our spirits and fill our hearts and minds with just a few more great memories.
even the smallest of friends enjoyed their day!
