eating a healthy lunch will give your child the strength and energy to stay alert in class. preparing a lunch at home will ensure that your child is getting a healthy meal that excludes processed foods and gluten.  be sure to provide a variety of foods from all food groups.  instead of sending extra money for sugary snacks, save your money and offer those items at home where they can be monitored more closely.
