shutter love | bicycles

you all have seen this photo recently, but i am using today for this week's shutter love theme, bicycles, over at trendy treehouse.

i was hoping to get a good photo of E on his new radio flyer tricycle but i have had no luck. hopefully soon. when he actually decides he will ride it.

tried the anthropomorphism: giving life to fruit tutorial over at paper heart camera.  not quite as good as i had hoped for, but i am pleased considering i have never done anything like this.

tuesday photo challenges | 4 days until christmas

our LOVE for our Lord Jesus Christ is pure and true. He definitely is THE REASON FOR THE SEASON. i thank Him for this life i have and for jason, my children, my family, and friends.  without Him my life has no meaning, without Him i am lost.




every morning i enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee. plain. no sugar. no milk or creamer.

and maybe, just maybe, a candy cane if it is christmas time.

i adjusted the white balance and then ran the paper mama's brighten me action. lastly, i added the bokeh texture background to hide some of the noise and added a slight gaussian blur.

shutter love tuesday | dreaming

i took this photo during the summer. we were geocaching with no luck of finding our treasure and so i let the girls wander in the field near where we had parked.  i snapped a bunch of photos while they wandered around daydreaming and exploring the area.

shutter love tuesday | zoom zoom

this is my attempt at using textures. i never use textures. geez, i am just now beginning to learn how to use this camera in manual!

this week's theme over at trendy treehouse is zoom zoom and although i thought this little setup i created was cute, it just still looked a little boring,so i attempted texture to give it more character, something new to me.

you can let me know how i did. or perhaps even give me some tips.

this week's shutter love tuesday theme over at trendy treehouse is birthdays. i have shared several other shots from this group, but not this one.  phoenix absolutely loved this hat i made and was happy to model it for me, so this was one of the few times i was actually able to get some great shots of her without any of her whining and complaining.
