joie de vivre: joy of living via iphone
- last friday, it actually snowed here in NC. it was a pretty pathetic snow, just enough to tease the kids and annoy me. i was only about 3-4 inches, but it quickly turned to rain and left nothing for the next morning. i really was hoping it would snow enough for elijah to go out and enjoy it. the last time it snowed like that, he was only a few months old.
- when she does stuff like this, mackenzie reminds me of myself at her age.
- breakfast for dinner: line a muffin tin with bacon, crack an egg in the middle, top with cheese, and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 15-20 minutes. quick and simple, and so good!
- chili for the cold weather. we basically just threw some stuff in a pot and hoped for the best...we got some damn good chili!
- watching disney's original alice in wonderland. one of my favorite movies as a child. i watched this and cinderella at least 10 times a week for several years. this was the first time any of my children had seen it. phoenix liked it best.
