i have kinda sorta been having baby fever lately (but definitely NO plans to have any more children), so it is nice that both of my best friends are having babies soon. jennifer is matt's wife, my best friend since middle school, and they are expecting a baby girl around nov 2. this is their second child, their oldest daughter, kelsey is in middle school, so it's been awhile and i am excited to meet mallory ryann. i only wish we lived closer (hopefully soon) so i can snuggle her anytime i want and cure this disease i have of constantly wanting more kids.
jennifer had a lovely shower with a food spread bigger and better than any shower i have ever been too. i wish i would have taken a few photos of all that yummy food. her family did an amazing job of making this day so special for her.
i was also very entertained by this little guy, hudson while he played with his mommy and the tissue from jennifer's shower gifts. mallory is being given her middle name, ryann after hudson's daddy, ryan, who lost his life in a tragic accident at home last year, just a day or two after his mom found out she was pregnant with him. the accident left matt and jennifer devastated and wanting to memorialize ryan in a special way.
