it was a delicious day

Delicious skateboards Indoor/outdoor skate park.  Took my oldest son to get a new skateboard and skate today. Too rainy for outdoor fun today. So proud of him! He's clearly not as good as the other kids but he isn't afraid to get out there with all the others. The road to amazing started right here baby! #proudmom #sixcherries

ryan has really been into skating recently, so we took him over to delicious skate shop and indoor/outdoor skate park in wake forest at the factory to get him his first "real" board and for a day of fun and practice.  he had an awesome time and learned so much from the other kids that were there.

it was clear that most of the other kids there had more experience than he does, but he spoke highly of the other kids who were kind enough to help him out and give him pointers along the way. all the other kids were very encouraging of him and did not make fun of him for his lack of experience.

jason and i are so proud of him for not letting his fear get to him simply because he was less experienced than the other kids. and, by the end of the day, he totally had some new skills down that he didn't come there with.

my kid was a total rockstar today!
