halloween 2011

we did most of our halloween celebrating on saturday when my big boys were here. and luckily we did because halloween was a total wash this year. it rained most of the day including the entire time we were supposed to be out trick or treating. a downpour it was. elijah was already starting to show signs of a cold coming on, so we pretty much just stayed inside and went nowhere. i don't ever recall a time that this has happened before and i hate it for my kids.

but that doesn't mean we didn't have fun because we still dressed up and had plenty of candy. we had our candy bucket full of candy as well as the candy they got from school and the rest of the cupcakes we made on saturday.

halloween is definitely my favorite holiday so i was a little bummed that it turned into such a mess. however, i plan to make up for it next year big time.

until then, here is a major iphone photo dump of halloween 2011...

now it's time to take down the halloween decorations, throw out the smelly pumpkins, and get ready for christmas! if you celebrate christmas, when do you usually put up your christmas tree?
