22 things JASON has done

like i mentioned yesterday, i thought i would share some of the things jason has done since my life has been pretty dull and boring outside of the adventure i have had raising my awesome children. being a u.s. marine, he has had the opportunity to do so many things aside from war and weapons and casualty.

little intro story first:

okay, so, we were on a road trip yesterday and i decided to just throw out random questions along the way to come up with this list. nothing planned just whatever came to mind, i would ask. keep reading as i share some things jason has done, as well as some of my silly random questions.

1.  been skydiving

2. been part of a helicopter search and rescue team

3. been in 15 different countries

4. lived in japan for a year

5. drank saki with the yakuza (japanese mafia)

6. met george w. bush

7. served 3 tours in the military as a sergeant in the u.s. marines

8. been on a nude beach

9. been on tv

10. swam with dolphins

11. ridden a camel

12. been around the world twice...once by plane, once by boat

13. seen the great barrier reef

14. been on the c9 weightlessness space simulator airplane

15. been inside the pentagon

16. eaten octopus

17. been to a sumo wrestling match

18. been deep sea fishing on a charter boat

19. seen the great pyramid of giza

20. been white water rafting

21. been snow skiing

22. played the viola, violin, string bass, cello, and piano

as you may remember from above, some of the answers to this list came from me asking questions. along the way, some of my questions at times got a little far fetched. here are a few of my favorites...

• i wish you could have seen the eyeroll i got when i asked jason if he had ever been to that place in taiwan where things are "made in".

• i asked him if he had ever been abducted by aliens and he proceeded to tell me, "NO!" and that he has never had to kill zombies either. 

• we still continue to chuckle about me asking him if he has ever swung from a vine rope in the jungle.
