halloween fabric scraps garland

this is the time of year that crafting goes into overload in my house. it all starts around this time for two reasons, i love the fall and winter holidays and it's getting colder and we are spending more time inside.

i love halloween, so i was excited to see this super simple craft that amy did over at buggie and jellybean. and, since it has been raining for the last week here in NC, i decided i would make use of my time indoors and some old fabric i had, to make this to hang in our house.

i think it looks great hanging from this shelf with this witch doll that a friend gave me. but, please excuse my pictureless frame.

the project is really very easy. i simply ripped some halloween fabric into strips and tied them to a length of cord. it took me a little less than 45 minutes to do this. then, once i was done, i hung it up using some tape. i still have quite a bit of fabric scraps left so i am sure i will be searching pinterest for some type of fabulous idea for them.
