ZERO.
that's the number of days i missed right up until our A/C unit went out.
until we can afford to fix it, i will be doing my exercises outside where it is actually cooler believe it or not, and enjoying my kids' kiddie pool a little to keep cool.
i promise you i am sweating enough inside without having to do a jillian michaels workout. and eating anything besides a fruit or veggie in this heat just disgusts me. it makes me feel dirty. so, i could look at it as a good thing, huh?
actually, no, i'm not convinced. it's hot as hell in here!
this will be the first time since owning a home that this has happened. the entire system doesn't need to be replaced. just the inside system if that makes sense to anyone. and as far as a money perspective...
$2,800
yeah, well, my wallet is certainly loosing a few lbs. we don't exactly have that much in our savings right now so we will have to get a window unit until we have saved the rest. the average cost for an entire new system is around $5,000 - $7000. thank goodness it wasn't the whole system. i really am trying to look at this in a positive way.
unfortunately, i don't have an outfit to share with you, but i have been totally loving all these gorgeous outfits everyone is sharing.
this week's goals:
- LOTS AND LOTS of water
- crunches, push ups, leg lifts (all those lame-o oldies but goodies exercises) at night
- walking with the kids around the neighborhood
- try to push through at least 3 workouts indoors regardless of the heat
i didn't really have anything that i struggled with except that i am still stuck on level 1 of the shred. i still feel like i might die by the end. i am definitely doing my workouts more like natalie, but i get terrible headaches when i get too hot. i am pretty sure i am drinking enough water before and after so i am not sure what that is all about.
hope everyone is having a great weekend!
