i have also started another blog for all of the photography i have been doing for friends and family, that i would love for you to check out. i still have a lot to learn, but i am proud of what i have accomplished so far. I call it the cherry blossom project because it is my little side project to learn more about photography and improve the quality of the photos i take.
here is one of my favorite photos from the session i had with my own children.
you've actually seen a couple of these shots periodically in the last week, but if you would like to see the rest of our holiday photos, hop over to the cherry blossom project and check out the rest of these photos. be sure to become a follower if you want to keep up with my work. it won't be something i update frequently. it is simply my own little online portfolio of the work i have done.
i plan to use several of these photos on our christmas card this year over at shutterfly.
shutterfly has a huge variety of cards, including their christmas photo cards, that i have been drooling over. they seriously make me want to send out more cards throughout the year. what a fabulous collection of holiday cards they have for all holidays throughout the year.
since i was not able to get a great group shot of all of my children, i love that i can create a collage christmas photo card. shutterfly allows the option to use one photo or several photos to personalize my card.
i am even planning to create my own one of a kind shutterfly photo book to give as a gift this christmas. these make wonderful gifts to give to grandparents.
right now i am undecided as to which card i plan to use, but here are some of my favorite shutterfly christmas photo cards:
i love all the fun and colorful cards because they are more of my families personality. however, there are so many cards to chose from, everyone is certain to find the right card for them. add a family photo and you have a wonderful card to send to family and friends.
my family and friends always enjoy receiving my cards each year because they are personalized with pictures of my children. they know that their cards are one of a kind and that the neighbor next door isn't going to have the same card like all those other cards in a box that can be purchased all over the place.
be sure to stop by shutterfly right now before it's too late and start creating your family's holiday cards.
