one day on earth

after hearing about one day on earth, a worldwide media event that will take place on 10/10/10 in an attempt to document the world's story over a 24-hour period, i was eager to find out more and wanted to know how i could get involved.  i visited the website and signed up to be a participant in this amazing event, and soon after, i got my confirmation that i had been accepted.

how awesome is that?  

awesome is right. it is only a few days away and i am so late in the game but i have time to get prepared and decide what i am going to film. i have pretty much decided that it is going to be the most obvious thing...

my family. my children.

all six of them.

a day in our life. all the chaos and all the laughter.  we are crazy people.

it is my attempt to show life. a simple life. the life of a family from a small town in the middle of nowhere, united states. the innocence and joys of being a child and the challenges and beauty of being a parent.

there will be laughter.

there may even be tears.

there will definitely be hugs and kisses and perhaps a few burps and farts.
