past, present, and future
last week:
my daughter phoenix aka peanut started kindergarten. read all about that here if you'd like.
this week:
i have been obsessing over this new netflix for the wii. i have watched more movies this week than i have all year. i have actually found that putting on a movie i have seen one million times is a great way to entertain one's self and still get some cleaning done.
today:
i am going to attempt to get the rest of my house clean, so that tomorrow i can do absolutely nothing but spend time with my kids...and maybe a little time with myself and a few yummy smelling candles. yes, on a saturday. haven't done that in a long time.
tomorrow:
me, my kids, maybe a few board games, some candles, a few naps cuddled up with my kiddos.
next week:
my youngest daughter, tyler has been missing adrianna, her bestie, so we will go pick her up and have a day of fun. maybe go to the museum. or the park. i sure do wish my bestie could go too!
the five senses
taste:
i just ate a bowl of honey bunches of oats and 1/2 of a banana. the other half was claimed by my one year old.
touch:
i am wearing the most comfortable duke blue devils hoodie ever. it is old and raggedy and comfy. i totally don't care that i look like a bum in it.
smell:
butterfly flower lotion from bath and body works. i am trying to savor the summer as much as possible and this is a must have summer scent.
see:
that i need to get up and clean the ceiling fan because there is half inch thick dust on the blades and that is just...i can't breath looking at it!
hear:
the fish tank bubbling. oh, which reminds me, there is a dead fish in there that needs to be removed. :(

i was digging through some old files and found this photo of Mack way back before J and i were together and she was a lonesome only child at the time.
how funny is this face she is making?
i can remember her being mad because we wouldn't let her do something. i don't quite remember what that something was. but everything is so dramatic with her, even now, and so i am almost positive it was something silly.
i think she still makes this face when she it mad.
i'm sure of it!
