During her graduation, it wasn't two seconds in and I was already teary eyed. Pea is somewhat shy, and I was sure she was going to freeze up in front of the 75+ people at the graduation. Each child was to go up and say and spell their name, and she was the first one to go up. As soon as the P-H-O-E-N-I-X came out of her mouth, I broke down. What a sweet little voice! Mama Cherry was so proud of her Peanut. She will finish out the summer at preschool before going to Kindergarten this fall.
new dress and party hat I made at midnight the night before!
Almost every time there is a birthday at school, cupcakes are sure to be brought. So, I decided to do ice cream instead.
Brooklyn, Phoenix, Maggie - Best Friends and have been together since they were babies
All of Pea's friends enjoyed yummy {ice cream sundaes} with bananas, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, M&Ms, and cherries on top!
Don't you just love the party hat I made for her? :)
I made it out of card stock and scrapbooking paper!
For her birthday dinner, she said she wanted tacos from Moe's, so of course we took her. I was certainly not complaining, because she picked Mama's favorite meal, and I promise I had nothing to do with her choice!
What a great week it has been, and I am glad we were able to make it special for Pea!
Now, next week is Red's birthday! Birthdays are always around the corner in this big family! Whew!
