My name is Joni and I welcome you!

I am a mother of six children.  They are my six cherries on top of the sweetest cupcake of life!

But don't let me forget another important part of this family, the man who has helped me raise this wild bunch, the love of my life.

He is an ex Marine of 12 years, and {wonderful} father to our children.  He was recently accepted into the Police Academy and currently unemployed until the Fall when it starts, but it works out great because he is able to take care of our eight month old son (he should start a daddy blog don't you think?).  It has been a pinch in our budget, but we have done well along the way.  Sometimes you have to look at the positive side of life, and appreciate every blessing you've been given or life will slip away and one day you will regret every missed opportunity to enjoy your family and children.  

I have always enjoyed writing and talking and decided to start blogging a little less than two years ago. I have found it to be very enjoyable to share my life experiences, as well as read the inspiring stories that others have to share. It really has been therapeutic for me.

In my spare time, which I have very little of, I enjoy photography, crafting, a little bit of baking, and of course blogging. I decided to join the blog hop when I started noticing that many of the blogs on the list I had never heard of.  I wanted to take this opportunity to meet some new people  and make some new friends.  It is so amazing at how talented so many people there are out there and how we all come together to share ourselves with one another.

But aside from that, like I mentioned before, I love to talk.  I talk a lot, but in a house like mine, there are always interruptions.  Here, on my blog, I can start and stop only if I want, and run my mouth all day long and everyone will listen to me.

Right? Right? Hellooooo!?! Hey are you listening to me!?!  Hehe!  I can pretend everyone is listening.  Bahahaha!
