Super Simple Recipe - Cookie Swirl Pops

I really want to try these again because the colors didn't show like I wanted them too, but they were definitely a big hit at our house none the less.
Red and I spent some time in the kitchen together whipping these up. Below are some simple instructions. I made them with bought cookie mix. I also used neon food coloring, but next time I plan to try the regular bold colors.
Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Cookie Mix is my favorite cookie dough to work with. If you are wanting to make these from scratch, here is a recipe for homemade sugar cookies.
Cookie Swirl Pops
sugar cookie dough (either bought or homemade)
food coloring
flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Separate the cookie dough into 4 parts. Mix a different food coloring into each part. Sprinkle flour on your work surface.
Stack the parts on top of each other and begin rolling into a rope. Be careful not to mix the colors too much. Divide into sections as the rope becomes longer. Keep dividing to make a least 6 cookies. Divide more for smaller cookies, less for larger ones. Roll the rope sections like a jelly roll. Place on cookie sheet and bake for approx. 14 minutes.
Once you take them out, slowly insert a stick while they are still hot. Let cool on cookie sheet for 10 minutes, then gently remove from the cookie sheet and let cool on a plate or another 5-10 minutes.
