So this year I will make {New Year's Wishes}, in hope that my "wishes" will come true. Saying "resolutions" makes me think that they are a list of chores that need to get done, and wishes are just that...something I hope to accomplish.
I wish...
to attend church on a more regular basis again.
set aside time to spend with each of my children individually.
to eat more fruits and veggies.
to be more active and lose at least 2 lbs per week before summer.
to learn something new.
to read at least one non-school book a month.
to build financial stability by saving $50 a month (starting out).

okay, so {hopefully} I can fulfill my wishes by striving to do better at all of these. I believe the key is to start slow and work my way up. Who says I need to jump into the deep end when I can wade out from the shallow end? Perhaps I may not start saving the $50 a month until next month, but my goal is to be doing it by the end of the year. I think I am giving myself enough time to accomplish this.
Of course I cannot do a post without including a photo, so enjoy this photo of Princess doing one of her chores.

Sometime soon, I will actually be talking about some of the chores I have my children do around the house and how important it is to teach your children to work. Look for that in a future post.
