Soup is a great way to start a meal or just make as a meal by itself. In the winter, I love to have soup, but I like a variety of different soups. I also like to add multicultural foods to our menu. Sometimes we have Chinese food and actually use chopsticks when we eat. Here is a great way to incorporate multiculturalism in your menu as well as enjoy a different soup on a cold winter's night.
Egg Drop Soup
1 egg
3 cups clear chicken broth
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cold water
Pour broth into a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Measure water and cornstarch into a container with a lid, and shake energetically. Pour cornstarch mixture from the container into the broth. Stir with a fork until smooth. Break an egg into a small bowl, and beat with a fork. Slowly pour the beaten egg into the broth. Stir until all of the egg has been added and cooked, Remove from heat and serve.
