I Made Pumpkin Baby Food

This past weekend, I finally made pumpkin baby food for Elijah with one of the pumpkins we didn't carve. The pumpkin provided more than enough food for Elijah to eat for Thanksgiving and throughout December. Mackenzie helped me scoop out the seeds and then I cut it up into pieces and cooked it in a shallow dish of water in the microwave. Afterward, I used my blender to whip it into creamy baby food for him. I couldn't resist giving him a small bowl, which he devoured. I also added apples and bananas to make pumpkin apple, pumpkin banana, and apple, banana, pumpkin.

After I blended them up, I spooned it into ice cube trays and put them in our deep freezer until frozen. Once they were frozen, I popped them out and placed them in ziplock freezer bags. Mackenzie and I call the three versions Harvest Delights, our own little line of seasonal baby food for the Fall months.
